Facial-recognition cameras are used in many fields,<\/strong> from access controls<\/strong> that are increasingly in demand in both domestic settings,<\/strong> where it is important to monitor who approaches the home,<\/strong> to industrial settings,<\/strong> where perhaps only certain people<\/strong> have access to certain places. In computer forensics, they are able to provide evidence. <\/p>

In general, they store footage and can very quickly retrieve<\/strong> moments when something abnormal<\/strong> is detected ,<\/strong> saving time without having to view hours of footage.<\/strong> The technology is also used to count the number of people in a place, a<\/strong> function that has become particularly popular in commercial establishments during Covid.<\/p>

Proper face recognition starts withidentifying<\/strong> within the scene the location of a subject’s face, and then initiating face mapping<\/strong>, basically keeping in mind the distance of some main points such as, for example, the eyes from the cheekbones or the measurement and position of the jaw and nose<\/strong>. From this data, a series of coordinates are derived that lead to uniquely identifying the person’s face<\/strong>.<\/p>

Being able to identify faces remotely,<\/strong> thanks to efficient cameras, is part of the functions TVT provides to its customers.Faces can be detected and the data sent to the NVR, which compares them with those in a previously created database to identifyif they belong to one of the faces<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The data is saved on SD memory or NVR. The TD-9423-FR<\/a> series cameras allow face detection with minimum resolution<\/strong> between the pupils of the image of 20 pixels, compare the<\/strong> detected faces<\/strong> with an internal database in real time<\/strong>, generating<\/strong> various types of notifications<\/strong>, produce statistics with temporal display of the number of detected faces on a daily, weekly, monthly,<\/strong> or on a configurable period basis<\/strong>, and generate alarms for different time slots<\/strong> with customizable notifications through dynamic comparison with the stored face database. <\/p>\n

TD6424M3DPEAR2<\/a>, TD-6424M3 are 180-degree panoramic IP cameras that use artificial intelligence to classify subjects<\/strong> by distinguishing between people, vehicles, and motorcycles\/bikes,<\/strong> increasing the reliability of detection, generate an alarm in case of line crossing, entering or leaving area. They have 8MP<\/strong> resolution (4 x 2MP sensors) with Light Explorer technology<\/strong> that enables color night vision<\/strong> even in low light conditions<\/strong>, plus 12Vdc or PoE power supply, configurable triple<\/strong> video stream<\/strong>, SD card slot, conform to Onvif S, G and T standards. <\/p>\n
