Automatic access control turnstiles

Turnstiles are fixed multi-lane or rotating barriers that allow only one person at a time to enter or exit through the gate.

With swivel or hinged arms, they are ideal for controlling traffic flow in office complexes, retail stores, theme parks or stadiums.
In fact, they have been used for several years in environments where there is a need to get one person into a space at a time while controlling access.

In standard applications they are opened through a ticket, such as in stadiums, with technologiesnow various types of badges and even recognition tools can be used that are based on, for example, biometric security (through face or fingerprints), ID cards or QR codes.

They are also widely used in work contexts where it is necessary to allowonly specific people to enter certain places. The most classic case, however, is in stadiums: it will be remembered how their introduction in neighboring Italy had sparked quite a bit of controversy, along with the nominal ticket.

This is actually a technology that has been in vogue for some time in different environments, with the function of regulating access-think supermarkets and banks. During Covid they served to help stores and facilities meet capacity limits.

In particular, the full-height revolving turnstile creates a non-escalable barrier made to allow only one person to pass at a time, which is particularly suitable for controlling access with standard flows and is used in all situations where strict, peripheral control is required.

It has a special structure made entirely of aisi 304 stainless steel supplemented by a 3-sector stainless steel rotor with appropriately shaped bars that give the product a unique feature and DESIGN.

It provides for appropriately designed handling to withstand even very high mechanical stresses.
Besides being an access control element, it also plays an important role in the security of the places where it is installed.
