Video surveillance with thermal detector in Ticino, Switzerland

The cameras are equipped with an infrared lens that captures images in complete darkness and displays them on a monitor.
The thermal detector combines the image of two different cameras into a single image.
Using the on-board microphone and speakers, people can be talked to directly in front of the camera.

Long-range sensing, temperature measurement

Long-range detection, temperature measurement, ability to distinguish between animate, inanimate, and atmospheric disturbances , avoiding false alarms, operation in absolute darkness, and accurate video analysis are features that make thermal cameras suitable for residential situations, protection of large perimeters, and supervision of industrial facilities.

In certain types of contexts, we at OsaTech believe that customers who want to get the mostout of video surveillance solutions can switch from classic video surveillance systems to those that use thermal cameras . These are equipped with an infrared lens that captures images in complete darkness and displays them on a monitor.
The thermal detector combines the image of two different cameras into a single image.

Surveillance cameras, traditional ones operate properly during daylight hours and in well-lit areas; when darkness falls, however, they need the support of sensors to increase their sensitivity, still generating quite garbled video, at best.

We at OsaTech, aware of how this sector is experiencing important development, are active and offer different ranges of products and models with or without an integrated hard drive.

Security measures impose camera monitoring on public and private buses to ensure a peaceful journey for passengers.

These are usually compact and small cameras with excellent ability to shoot on the move, withstand vibrations, shocks, bumps, and temperature changes, can withstand dust and water, provide operational continuity (even in tunnels), and can shoot even in suboptimal or no light conditions.

Integrated network cameras are also used that use two-way audio systems to emit sounds and warnings that would like to deter attackers by signaling a noncompliant action.

Thermal cameras suitable for homes and businesses

The installation of thermal detection cameras, on the other hand, ensures maximum effectiveness in both day and night by reprocessing heat sources into images visible to the human eye.

They are suitable for home situations, where they can be installed in low-light locations so as not to be visible to any thieves, as well as for industrial installations characterized by low light.

They make it possible to see remotely and over long distances even what is happening in large perimeters and in companies where fires might break out or overheating outside the norm might occur.
They thus lend themselves to a long list of different applications.

Aware of the advantages of thermal camera solutions, we at OsaTech work, to offer flexible, innovative and durable installations, with competitive brands such as Hikivision, and DAHUA.

Suitable for situations where rain, fog, snow, hail, thunderstorms and low light conditions may be present, they provide images optimized byAuto Gain Control, with higher definition, sharper and more accurate.
For these reasons and innovative content, we decided to provide customers with Hikivision’s thermal and Bi-spectrium cameras.

These are technologies suitable for situations where 24/7 video surveillance is needed in varying light conditions, thanks to bi-spectrum technology with wide-angle focal length and the discrete option of a turret dome version.

They are ideal for residential and small business applications , for warehouses and outdoor environments such as porches and garages, for power plants, for borders or photovoltaic fields, for places where there is a ban on smoking such as bars, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes, with preventive functions on fires by detecting temperature changes and anti-theft, both internally and externally.

They integrate advanced Deep Learning-type video analysis algorithms for detecting and discriminating people and vehicles from animals, rain, leaves or other moving objects, a common cause of false alarms.
The cameras rely on the heat radiated by objects, but Deep Learning ensures that thealarm is triggered only in the event of actual intrusion: the two factors combined make it possible to override the limits given by environmental conditions, and together with a combination of the Human/Vehicle Detection function with the smart Line Crossing Detection and Intrusion Detection functions make it possible to identify and recognize people and report situations of object abandonment and intrusion in specified areas.

They are very useful in environments where fire is possible to break out, being able thanks to the Temperature Exception Alarm function to detect temperature anomalies in case of a fire/fire start and to trigger the alarm in case of temperature changes on specific objects.
Thanks to the Smoke Detection function it picks up minimal smoke signals.

Operation via theHik-Connect APP and iVMS-4200 software give the ability to manage the system, displaying set alarm rules, areas and points where to detect temperatures, seeing live and payback content, receiving push notifications of alarms, directly on smartphones and PCs.

Compared to traditional currencies, they have a number of advantages, related to the fact that they are not linked to any financial body: in fact, they are decentralized and released from the control of governments and financial institutions; they do not need intermediaries because they are created and sold through a computerized system called blockchain, among peers.
They thus result immune from the influence of monetary policies and interest rates.
Investing in virtual currencies is an alternative way to store and create wealth especially when traditional flats, which are tied to governments and thus to global socio-economic situations, are in trouble. However, these are highly variable assets, so knowing the patterns that regulate, or at least try to regulate, the fluctuation is basic to not losing your money.
There are currently about 2,000 different cryptocurrencies on the market.

The first to be created was Bitcoin in 2009, still the most popular and used in transactions.
Its inventor is an anonymous person who used the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.

The coin that currently seems to be able to compete with Bitcoin is Ethereum.
However, there are others such as Litecoin and XRP Ripple that have gained some popularity and an endless so-called emerging ones such as Dogecoin, Decentreland, Enjin Coin and Algorand.

Consider that creating and placing cryptocurrencies on the market is relatively easy, with the risk of seeing bubbles created that initially allow a major gain only to lose it all, via the dump and pump method, which causes the creators to immediately dump the cryptocurrencies when the price has risen, cashing in high profits but leaving those who had decided to invest in them in the lurch.
The advice usually given is to target the major coins and to differentiate the investment.

Given the high volatility of traditional cryptocurrencies, alternative currencies called stablecoins have been created, which are in fact pegged to a traditional asset, for example gold or a real currency such as the dollar: these include Tether, USD Coin and Binance USD, and theoretically have a more stable value than other virtual currencies.

Cameras with traditional technologies combined with thermal technologies for complete systems capable of providing a comprehensive video surveillance service that works in all light conditions.

We at OsaTech offer our customers DAHUA’s thermal cameras, which can be used for functions as diverse as perimeter protection, protection of key components (electrical systems, gas pumps, etc.) and overheating detection in critical infrastructure, and forest fire prevention.

Because of their ability to detect temperature and differences in the same, they integrate well with so-called visual cameras, thus covering realities where there is little lighting and continuous surveillance is needed , 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.

DAHUA products in the field of thermal cameras are used particularly for anti-theft functions, signaling possible intrusions, in the perimeters of companies, to prevent fires in industrial settings, and to control border areas.

Many companies that work with chemical fuels, are exposed to sunlight, and have employees who may smoke near machinery are at risk of fires, which in addition to destruction and damage can lead to pollution of the work environment.

In particular, the Eureka thermal camera series (with the models DH(I)-TPC-DF1241 / DH(I)-TPC-DF1241-T, and DH(I)-TPC-BF1241 / DH(I)-TPC-BF1241-T Mini Hybrid Bullet Camera) is suitable for their prevention, thanks to the ability to detect heat sources that can become fires, which triggers a real-time alarm by means of lights that alert personnel to the danger (the same lights used to signal when someone is smoking in unsafe conditions), as well as the ability to monitor the operation of appliances and trigger an alarm if they overheat.

Effectively monitoring border areas is never easy, as they are particularly extensive, the different weather conditions, the difficulty in discriminating the detected elements to avoid false alarms: with DAHUA’s thermal cameras, however, it is possible to detect vehicles up to 20 kilometers away and people up to 8 kilometers away, even through rain, snow and fog without compromising the sharpness of the images.
In addition, the distance of the detected object, the nature of which is determined through Deep Learning algorithms, can be calculated.

In addition to the aforementioned Eureka, solutions that take advantage of thermal technology include the Lite Series, Pro Series, Wizmind Series, Thermography Series, and Anti-Corrosion Series ranges.

It is a public, publicly visible, transparent and easily searchable and verifiable record of all transactions made using cryptocurrencies: data transitions are collected and recorded in blocks and linked together through a chain protected by mathematical systems called cryptography.
Cryptography is intended to protect transactions and control the creation of new coins.
Each new transaction binds to previous ones through the formation of an additional block, created by solving an algorithm.
In practice, whenever a cryptocurrency transaction takes place, PCs called miners solve a complex mathematical operation that allows the transaction to be authorized and give rise to additional virtual coins.

Mining is one of the ways to make money through cryptocurrency.

Blockchain is a technology that does not have a digital repository but is shared by everyone who conducts transactions.
This makes it extremely secure and protected from hacker attacks and data theft.
